Worthing 2005

In May 2005, The Broxbourne Skunks mixed team went to Worthing's Penguin Festival for a weekend of hockey, partying and romance. What made this better was that the team was made up of 18 players all under the age of 18 with only 4 senior players to "supervise" them.

As an original junior team in the new Worthing Junior tour league, the team had a great first tour, making sure that their invite to next year's tour is in the post and that several young admirers will be waiting for them.

Having only 5 male players, who had to play every match, meant that that the female players had plenty of rest, which showed when they partied hard throughout the night.

The adult members struggled to keep up with this especially when a few of the senior male players turned up on the Sunday to party. A quick drinking session meant that they were left trailing behind by the evening - until stuntman tequila surfaced and saved the night.

Due to the success of this tour, 2006 will have a senior and junior team travelling to Worthing.
