Sunday 12th November 2006 Broxbourne Vets v Blueharts Vets National Veterans Cup - Round 2 Result - won 7-2: Report by Laura

Broxbourne marched forward into the next round of the National Cup for over 40's when they defeated their Hitchin opponents on Sunday. In a tight first half Broxbourne were indebted to Dave Marshall's brace which gave them a 2-0 halftime lead. The second half saw Broxbourne take control of the game and goals from Andy Law(2), Lindsey Acteson, Martin Williams, and Nigel Hopson saw the Badgers to a comfortable victory.
