Saturday 25th November 2006 Broxbourne Mens 2s v Chelmsford 3s Result - Lost 8-3: Report by A. Law

Broxbourne's second team continued their recent poor run of form and were soundly thrashed by their Essex opponents on Saturday. With the defence leaking goals at an alarming rate, it was never going to be easy to compete against the well-drilled Chelmsford side and three sin-bins for Jim Fox, Dan Ellis and Nigel Hopson did not help matters. With hot-shot Dan Ellis again mis-firing in front of goal it was left to veteran, Hopson, to show the way with two goals with Julian Cogdell scoring the other Broxbourne goal.
