Known affectionately as the Fab 5s the team is a complimentary mix of old heads and young legs.

The team has been promoted in the last 2 seasons, once without us even knowing, hence the reason for the absence of a victory parade through the streets of Broxbourne in an open top bus.

Although we sit currently at the lower end of league divison 5 in the 5 Counties League we have put in some fine performances and the youngsters in the team improve with every passing week. We have even beaten two of the top three teams in our league, much to their surprise and ours come to that.

The team is the ideal starting point for up and coming young hockey talent - and girls are fed through from the junior section - we nuture and encourage them until they are ready to leave for higher teams in the club. We bid them goodbye with a tear in our eye.

Many of our older players have been tempted out of retirement as we are one of the few teams that offer half time oranges and wheelchairs from the pitch to the club house.

Other players in the club actually beg to play for us because we do provide half time oranges.
