Saturday 21st January Broxbourne Ladies 5's vs De Montfort Uni Result: Broxbourne lost 7-1 (maybe)

OK so we lost by a lot - but we did score as well and we're not at the bottom of the league yet either and we were playing the team at the top of the league and we kept them to a one goal difference for two thirds of the game and we were very tired at the end and we were playing with only 10 and we had travelled a long way and it was a 4 o'clock push back and they were bigger than us and a lot younger than me and a couple of others of us and we had trouble finding their ground and there were no half time oranges. Is that enough excuses? or can you wait until next week until I can think of more? Seriously though it was an excellent performance from an ever improving very young side and I couldn't fault the team's effort and determination and the skills are coming along great. What was the score? I think we lost 1 -7 or it may have been 1 - 8 but I'd lost the will to live after the 5th goal went in. Oh well next week is another game another chance - we can do it!
