Saturday 4th March Broxbourne Ladies 5's vs Aylesbury Result: Lost 1-0

We wasn't robbed mugged or subjected to petty larceny - we lost though 0 - 1 and none of us scored which was the reason why we lost. I could have been reporting on a 30 or 40 goal bonanza if they hadn't a goal keeper and 18 defenders - well that's what it seemed like. I don't mind losing if we deserve to - well I do actually but I then I cry in private - this time I was sobbing into my post match McFlurry the only positive aspect of a trip to Aylesbury. We travelled with a very young side - all of us under 20 - (some of us have not worn too well and just look older due to having been raised in very basic conditions sleeping rough and being carried around in a papoose while our mothers went out shooting doner kebabs running around in fields in Inverness to earn enough to buy flip flops for summer holidays) and there are no complaints about the team's performance. We just couldn't score this week when any other week at least a couple of shots would have gone in. We really must win our next game - like we haven't had to win all our others. We can do it!!!
