Saturday 12th November Broxbourne Ladies 2's vs Bishops Stortford 2's Result: Broxbourne lost 5-0

Broxbourne had a torrid time as they slumped to their second successive defeat against local rivals Bishops Stortford on Saturday. They will feel somewhat aggrieved by the manner of the early goal, that set Bishops Stortford on their way to victory, as a shot from a short corner deflected of a Bishops Stortford forwards foot to fly up over the keeper and into the goal, unfortunately the infringement was not spotted by the umpire and the goal stood. Broxbourne were soon 3-0 down as quick running and good passing by Stortford proved fruitful. The second half saw Broxbourne with very few chances, the Stortford players giving Broxbourne very little time on the ball. Stortford scored two more easy goals in the half to give them in the end a deserved victory.
