Saturday 8th November Broxbourne Ladies 2's vs Stevenage Result: Broxbourne won 5-0

The second XI continued their winning start to the season with another high scoring match against local rivals Stevenage. The team have netted an impressive 17 goals in just 3 league matches to propel them to the upper reaches of the league table. Despite fielding a changed line up from the previous week, Broxbourne were soon ahead, a pin point pass from defender Bryony Smith was met by Sue House, who controlled the ball and fired the ball home from the edge of the D into the bottom corner. House doubled hers and the teams tally before the break with a strike from a short corner finding the net. Broxbourne increased their lead further when Emma Grainger slotted home minutes before the break to give them a comfortable lead going into half time. Grainger was on target again in the second half, securing her hat trick and the points for Broxbourne. The Broxbourne defence were rarely troubled during the game, good performances from Bryony Smith and Sophie Munn in midfield, ensured that the visitors were never really in the game and that Broxbourne collected the four points.
